Veteran Events

With the assistance and support of the Bulverde/Spring Branch communities, we aim to create the space for connection, unity and collaboration that will support our Military Community through our events that are rich in resources, awareness and encouragement.

Founded in 2021, the Veteran's Council, under the purview of BSB Chamber Foundation, Inc, quickly grew into a place where active and retired Military, their families, friends and supporters could find value in coming together as a group to further bridge the gap between communities through activities and services.

Veterans Networking Breakfast

The Veterans Council invites all veterans to bring a wingman, a battle buddy or a veteran-friendly business professional with you to breakfast.

This group meets on the 3rd Friday of each month from 7:30 to 9 am at Ay Chiwawa! Mexican Cafe.  Each breakfast will have a speaker that will address areas of interest to veterans in our community.

It is a time to meet other veterans in the area and help build a community of individuals that can support each other.

Annual Casino Night

Rub shoulders with local celebrities and socialites as you try your luck at the roulette table, craps, blackjack, poker and more. With amazing auction items up for grabs, you won’t want to miss out on this unforgettable evening.

Proceeds and donations from the event support the Chamber Foundation – a 501(c)(3) nonprofit – in serving the business community through its efforts to empower, connect and unite member businesses and organizations.

Sponsorships are available for this event from $350 to $3,000 and includes tickets to the event, company recognition and more!

Assist with Local Veteran Organizations

September 15, 2022, the BSB Chamber of Commerce Veterans Committee, in collaboration with Action Bike and Operation Comfort, were all smiles when they presented Marine veteran, Patrick Kelly, with a handcycle recumbent bike on 15 Sept at Operation Comfort’s location near Bracken Village on FM 2252.

We strive to build and maintain partnerships with businesses, agencies, associations, organizations and non-profits to provide pathways for veterans, military serving, and their families to find the right resources.
