Announcing a new and exciting Christian K4-12 school opening in Bulverde, Texas, for the fall of 2015. Living Rock Academy, conveniently located for families in downtown Bulverde (just North of San Antonio by way of highway 281!), offers digital learning giving students an innovative way to experience the world around them.
Just a few miles north of San Antonio on US Hwy 281, LRA will bring math and science alive to students as they learn the logic behind math and the intricate workings of God that is in all science. Along with strong academics, students will learn how to apply their knowledge in serving others in the community. State, national and international travel will introduce students to the world as a whole and give them a biblical worldview and a better understanding of God’s design for their lives. Come grow with us as LRA shows the love of God’s kingdom to all.
Living Rock Academy is looking at ways to enhance education and further equip students to impact their world for Christ. Because technology has become an increasingly critical part of the learning experience and has changed the way teachers and students interact with each other, LRA desires to use the latest technology and equip students with the ability to apply Biblical principles of discernment and integrity to all aspects of their lives.
God has called us all to be lifelong learners. As educators, our job is to improve the quality of instruction and foster the development and application of knowledge and critical thinking skills to prepare students for the future world of work. We are preparing students for jobs that don’t currently exist due to the rapidly changing world of technology. Access to technology allows teachers to differentiate instruction by incorporating innovative and stimulating opportunities in and out of the classroom. We believe it is our job to empower students with knowledge, skills and discernment so each student is ready to impact the world for Christ.
LRA desires to support and help develop students to use well their God-given talents. We recognize technology may be an instrument for students to serve God and their neighbors with their gifts.
