BOARD
Currently, we have limited slots open for pasture boarding. We have 7 pastures built (expanding to 18 or 19), each 1/4 to 1/2 an acre. Horses are matched in pastures by compatibility — we at Fine Print Farms diligently strive to maintain a peaceful environment for the horse and rider at all times. We are building secure tack lockers for each boarder and boarders can store one trailer on property for free.
Pasture Boarding cost is $550 / month / horse.
10′ x 10′ Stall Boarding cost is $650 / month / stall.
10′ x 20′ Stall Boarding cost is $750 / month / stall.
We provide hay (Strutty’s) and grain (Purina) twice a day (approx. 7 am and 6 pm). We use feed-through fly control and wormer. Alfalfa and Platinum available at an additional cost. You bag your supplements and we will feed them. If you wish to provide your own grain, board is $200 less.
TRAINING
We offer Horsemanship, Dressage, Jump, and Cross Country Training for interested riders. We also offer Training for your horse.
Dressage, Jump, Cross Country and Horse Training is $45 / 45 minute lesson
Basic Horsemanship Classes: prices vary — call
HORSE EXERCISE
Our staff are prepared to provide daily exercise for your horse. We can either work the horse on the ground (e.g., lunging) and by riding it.
Exercise – Ground Work is $25 / 45 minutes
Exercise – Riding is $35 / 45 minutes
HAUL-IN SERVICE
FPF is also allowing haul-in service by appointment. Right now we have limited facilities, but its great for open riding.
Cost is $25 / horse / day, plus an additional $10 trainer fee / rider / day.
OTHER SERVICES
We offer horse trimming services for boarders and haul-in customers. Horses are evaluated by size and amount of trimming required. Typical full body trim is $200. For the safety of the horse and our staff, if we feel that it is unsafe to trim a horse, before or after starting, we will cease and refund based on percent of work done. There are many arteries near the skin of a horse and if the horse becomes agitated and/or unruly, our number one concern is safety.
The Club House, Training/Class Room, and Lake Dock Area are available for rent for special events (see Facility). Horse trailer storage (limited) is available for $50 / month. Also, Horse Grooming and Spa services are available for boarders.
We are working on overnight stay capability.
